Free Spirit Publishing was invited to share its latest tween series, Middle School Confidential™, at the Connected Celebrity Gift Suite for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
Nancee Borgnine, vice president of marketing for Connected and daughter of Academy Award–winning actor Ernest Borgnine, explained why Free Spirit books are such a perfect fit for the Connected Celebrity Gift Suite. “If anyone needs to know how to determine a real friend from a fake one, it’s these kids,” she said. “In Hollywood, it can be hard to tell the difference.”
Free Spirit’s founder and president, Judy Galbraith, joined author Annie Fox in Los Angeles. Many of the young stars posed for photographs and autographed our poster, which posed the query, “Free Spirit Publishing wants to know what makes a real friend…” See who stopped by, and what they had to say about friendship.
